Elaine Dorothy Wilmot age 97, passed away Monday May 27, 2019 at Barnes Care in Esko, MN. She was born August 8, 1921 in Duluth, MN to John and Bertha (Schramm) Wilmot. Elaine graduated from Duluth Central High School on June 1939 and retired from Northwest Bell Telephone Company on January 1984 after 42 years of service. Elaine was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Telecom Pioneer. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Bertha Wilmot, sister Elizabeth Wilmot of Duarte CA, brother Jack of Sanford NC, James of Duluth, MN and Jerry of Rohnert Park CA. Elaine is survived by sisters-in-law Cathlene Wilmot of Sanford NC, and Shirley Wilmot of Duluth, MN and their families. Per Elaine's request there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Sunrise Funeral and Cemetery.
