Elaine M. Tryon, 92, of Duluth died Monday October 7, 2013 in Edgewood Vista.  She was born in Duluth on March 14, 1921 to Gustov and Bertha Rydberg.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  She had worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Housekeeping for many years.  Elaine was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.  She was the sunshine lady at the Lenox place, and had many friends at both the Lenox Place and at Edgewood Vista. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Charles, grandson Eric Soderstrom, one brother and three sisters. Elaine is survived by her daughters Bonnie (Ken) Hiukka of Hermantown, Sandy (Bob) Pulliam of Edgerton, WI, and Diane (Clyde) Soderstrom of Duluth, grandchildren Lori Bergholm, Kelly Lord, Rob Pulliam, Heidi Mandel, Dan Pulliam, Jeremie Soderstrom and Michelle Johnson, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
