Edna Lorriane Boutain, age 94, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on December 22, 2025, at Hilltop Nursing Home. She was born on July 13, 1931, in Crookston, Minnesota, to Elmer Hegg and Selma (Gunderson) Hegg.

Edna was united in marriage to Norman Boutain. Together, they managed several farms before eventually moving to Duluth. She enjoyed babysitting, cooking, and playing smear with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman; her three sons, Mike, Ronald, and Larry; as well as four brothers and two sisters.

Edna is survived by her brother, Harry "Buddy" Hegg; her sister, Luella; six grandchildren, Mickey Hegg, Dan Hegg, Tad Crandall, Jason Hawk, Chris Hawk, and Katy Clemente; five great-grandchildren, Scott, Sam, Dakota, Sur, and Honey; two great-great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and service will be held at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, Minnesota, on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 5pm.
