Duane James Lunde, 77, of Duluth, MN passed away on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019 at Ecumen Lakeshore with his loving wife at his side. Duane was born in Duluth to Frank and Margaret Lunde on Sept. 11, 1942. He worked construction for all of his working years. He enjoyed fishing and camping in God's Country - up the Gunflint Trail. Duane is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Justina Schoenborn; brothers, Dale, Gilean, Robert, and Gary Lunde. Duane is survived by his wife, Doreen; daughter, Julie Ann Patnaude; son, Terry; son-in-law, Bob Schoenborn; grandchildren, Nicole and Katy Patnaude, and Raelyn and Brandon Schoenborn; great-grandchildren, Milah and Marcel; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private graveside to be held at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery - Duluth.
