Dorothy Elinor Paszak, 90, of Duluth, died Friday July 5, 2013 in Diamond Willow, Cloquet.  She was born in Biwabik, Mn to Elmer and Ina Maki on July 13, 1922.  Dorothy grew up in Palo, MN attending a one room school house and graduated from Aurora, MN High School, Class of 1939.  She married John Paszak on June 7, 1941; they were married for 70 years until his death on June 7, 2011.  Dorothy enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, needle point and wintering in Arizona.  The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to Essentia Health Hospice and the staff at Diamond Willow, Cloquet. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband John, and a sister Violet. Dorothy is survived by sons John (Lani) and Rodney (Bonnie) Paszak, grandchildren Laurie (Mark) Wiita and Ryan (Cam Vanderport) Paszak, great-grandchildren Ethan, Lydia, Gabriel Wiita, and Jacob Paszak,  a brother Raymond Maki of Faribault, MN, and step grandchildren Michael Reese of Denver, CO,  and Kay Reese of Portland, OR.
