Donna J. Bolander, age 88, died on December 2, 2016 surrounded by her family. Donna was a lifelong Duluth resident who loved her family and was an amazing cook. Donna volunteered for many years at Holy Family Catholic Church and she will be greatly missed by so many. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and soon to be great-great grandmother. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Darwin; her twin baby daughters; son, Dennis; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Peterson; parents, Clarence and Gladys Lelonek; brothers, Clarence (Clary) and Eugene (Bud) Lelonek; and sister, Gladys (Pat) Glad.    She will be deeply missed by her sons, David (Pat), Douglas (Deb), and Dwayne Bolander; daughter, Debra Weiss; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne (Walt) Shatto; brother, John (Pam) Lelonek; many nieces & nephews; dear friend, Doris Ceryes; and her dog, Monster.  Family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and caregivers at St Luke's Hospice. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
