Dianne's life ended as she lived it, loved and surrounded by her family and friends.

Dianne Marion Carman, 73, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Essentia Health Moose Lake.

Dianne was born in Duluth, MN on April 17, 1952. She went to Torrance High School, in Torrance, CA and graduated in 1970. She went on to graduate from Lake Superior College in 1998. She later worked as a Court Administrator in Duluth, MN. She enjoyed going to the occasional movie with her best friend, Pam. She mostly liked spending time with her family and friends. Dianne has touched many lives - family, friends, and strangers alike.

Dianne was preceded in death by her spouse, Dale Carman; mother, Virginia McCormack; and granddaughter, Allisa Vollan.

Dianne is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Jim) Degeberg and Robbie (Erick) Vollan; sons, Bryan Carman and Tim Carman; grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla) Degeberg, Lauren Fawcett, Matthew Vollan, Emma Carman, Steven, Alexis, Aiden, Aubree, Thomas, Brynn, and Cody; great-grandchildren, Saria and Maddox; brother, Paul (Ruth) Ness; close sisters-in-law, Diane LaCelle and Mary Wilcox; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Essentia Hospice and Moose Lake Essentia Staff.

Per Dianne's wishes, there will be a small intimate Celebration of Life for closest family and friends at the end of October 2025. Dianne will be buried with her husband at the MN State Veteran's Cemetery on Hwy 53.
