Diane Lauree Tengquist, 72, of Duluth, MN passed away peacefully on Oct. 9, 2022 at home surrounded by family.

Diane was born in Park Rapids, MN to Lennie and Neva Pike on March 24, 1950. She went to Park Rapids High School and graduated in 1968. She then moved to Duluth and worked for Travelers Insurance, where she met Charles, and they were married on July 7, 1973. In 1977, they welcomed their daughter, Amie. Diane then worked for 33 years at St Mary's/Essentia Health in HR as the Benefits Coordinator, spending her last 10 years working in the call center. She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, sewing, and especially spending time with her three grandchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mareen Johnson and Delores Ann Pike.

Diane is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Tengquist; daughter, Amie (Carey) Mascarenas; grandchildren, Emalie, Caleb and Isaiah Lawrey; 3 step-grandchildren;  2 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (Jim) Heinzen and Trude (Dale) Westby; and brother, Wayne (Marty) Pike.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Oct. 27th at Grace Lutheran Church, 5454 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
