With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the passing of Diana Lee Mahnke, 76, of Hermantown, on October 8, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born December 25th, 1946 in Duluth,MN to Lee and Lorraine Giernett. She leaves behind her loving husband Jerald of 55 years, children; Barbra Mahnke, Sally (Scott) Daugaard, Chris (Jennifer) Mahnke, Lee (Andrea) Mahnke. She had seven grandchildren who she loved so much. Donovan, Brandon, Aaron, Devin, Emily, Morgan and Ryan.

Diana loved to travel and had many scuba diving adventures to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Bora Bora, and Egypt. Christmas was her favorite Holiday and her birthday so her family always made sure it was a very special time for her.

A private family service will be held in honor of Diana. Inurnment will be in Sunrise Cemetery.
