DENNIS "DENNY" OSWELL   Dennis "Denny" Oswell, 68, of Duluth, MN, passed away Saturday March 5, 2016 at home. Born March 21, 1947 in Duluth MN, he was the oldest child of Frank and Bernice Oswell. Denny enjoyed working as a heavy equipment operator, independent trucker and business owner.  Whether rebuilding an antique vehicle or working construction, he had a passion for vehicles of all kinds:  antique cars, tractors, trucks, and machinery.  In addition, he had the talent and skill to design and build many of the tools that were used in his trade. To family and friends, he will also be remembered for his love of classic country music and his guitar playing.  Whether listening or playing, music made his day complete and often times kept him going through life's challenges. Denny is preceded in death by his parents, and his youngest daughter, Jill. He is survived by his wife, Barb; daughter, Nita Lancour; two brothers, Gary Oswell and Steven (Rose) Oswell; three grandchildren, Briana Larson, Chelsea (Tom) Piskor, and Hannah (Kevin) Spaulding;  three great-grandchildren - Gavin and Hadley Spaulding and Avery Piskor; three nephews: Craig, Kirk, and Jake; and two nieces, Leslie and Elaine. We will miss his stories, his music and his concern for his family and friends.
