Denise Ann Valure, 74, of Duluth MN, passed away on Dec. 6th, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Denise was born in Duluth to Clifford and Marion Foro on Sept.7th, 1946 at St. Luke's Hospital. She attended high school at Duluth East High School and graduated in 1964. She went on to earn a BA in History from UMD. She was the Human Resources Director at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area for most of the 26 years she was employed there.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marion; and brother, Michael Foro.

Denise is survived by her ex-husband, Dan Valure; daughter, Dawn (Zach) Kilpela; beloved grandsons, Hunter and Gunnar Kilpela; family; and several close friends.

The family would like to thank Diamond Willow Memory Care in Proctor for the wonderful care she received for the last two years.

Visitation to be held at 10 am on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Memorial service to follow at 11 am. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
