Dean William Rustad, 51, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Dean went to grade school in Hawley, MN, and moved to Bismarck, ND, where he graduated from Century High. He graduated from Cheyenne Aerotech in Cheyenne, WY. He spent 2 years serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked as an Aircraft Mechanic and Welder at A.A.R. in Duluth, MN. Dean was a talented artist and writer, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Rustad. Dean is survived by his mother, Darlene Cash; stepfather, James Cash; brothers, Jeffrey (Cathy) Rustad of Hawley, MN, and Scott (Anita) Rustad of Wasilla, AK; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Max. Services to be held at a later date.
