On December 26, 2024, we lost David "DJ Dave" Robert Morrison, at the age of fifty-seven.

David was a man of true perseverance, even though he lived his life with limitations due to Cerebral Palsy. He put himself into providing others with his love for music through his inner gift of being a DJ. He was an entrepreneur and sold "Dave's Delicious Treats" while he made his presence at UDAC. His love and compassion for others was impeccable. David was a living example of "Family First". He never missed a family gathering even though snow storms attempted to stall his transportation.

David was preceded in death by his father, Norman; brother, Sherman; and maternal grandparents.

David is survived by his mother, Marlene; sister Cindy; brothers, Jeff and Joseph; sister-in-law, Angela; nieces, Rickchelle, Amber and Kayla; nephews, Justin and Clint; 4 great-nephews; and 2 great-nieces.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to RSI, UDAC, Peace of Mind, and the Special Olympics, as he loved and appreciated everyone along his journey.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy Hermantown, with reception to follow. Burial will be held at the Pine River Cemetery in Cloquet at a later date.
