David Gordon Johnson, 79, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 at Chris Jensen. David was born on Jan. 25, 1940 in Duluth to Gordon and Marie (Moebakken) Johnson. He graduated from Denfeld High School. He worked at Diamond Tool as a Machinist until it closed. He liked golfing, sports, and especially his beloved UMD Bulldog Hockey. David was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Trudy (Tafs) Johnson. David is survived by his children, Michael (Joyce) Johnson, Scott (Nikkie) Johnson, and Lynn (John) O'Donnell; grandchildren, Coltin, Sam, Logan, Kirsten, Cameron, and Devyn; sister, Benita "Bunny" (Richard) Bohlman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. No services will be held per David's request.
