Dane Leslie Johnson, 28, of Superior, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital, where he was born on September, 10, 1991, to Debra Agostino and Leslie Johnson. Dane was a member of Glen Avon Presbyterian Church. He graduated in 2010 from Superior Senior High School, where he was involved in the theater, on the swim team, and was in the band. He attended UW-Stevens Point and WITC-Superior. Dane was an avid gamer but loved his music. At a young age, he played the piano and then switched to drums when he entered middle school. He played the drums through his high school years, and performed with garage bands later on. He was truly a great rock star at heart. Dane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Lola Agostino; and paternal grandparents, Jerome and Rose Johnson. Dane will forever be missed by his parents; sisters, Freya Johnson, Tara (Ben) Voightlander, and Stacey Johnson; brother, Robb (Kimberly) Horn; and many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and especially Haydn, his niece who loved him dearly. A memorial service will be held at a later date. "I love you, Dane, to the moon and stars and back."
