Obituary
Dale Howard Carlson, 82, of Duluth, died peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Edgewood Memory Care in Hermantown.
Dale served in the Naval Reserve for 9 years and worked in the building trades as a floor layer throughout most of his adult life.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Irene; and brother, Duane.
Dale is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gail; and children, Jane (Steve) Beck, Alan (Kelly) Carlson, Caroline (Gery) Swanson, and Walter (Jodi Wutschke) Carlson.
The family would like to deeply thank the staff at Edgewood Vista Memory Care for filling his final days with comfort, kindness, and compassion. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made in Dale's name to the Alzheimer's Association - alz.org.
VISITATION: 10 am Tuesday, February 6th at Sunrise Funeral Home, Hermantown, with a service to follow at 11 am.
