Christopher John Carlson, 58, of Duluth, passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on June 19, 2024.

Chris was born October 27, 1965, and grew up in Duluth. "Carse" graduated from Denfeld High School in 1984. He enlisted in the Minnesota Air National Guard and worked at the 148th Fighter Wing base in Duluth. He later worked various jobs, most recently at Como Oil & Propane. Chris was a lifelong outdoorsman. The hunting shack, in the woods, or on a lake with a line in the water were his favorite places to be. He was a dog lover, and his dogs Scooter, Peanut, and Steve were spoiled and loved. He treasured and kept in close touch with his friends, including the Shirttail Gang, who were like family to him. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Paul Carlson, and his grandparents.

Chris is survived by his mother, Joan Carlson; sister, Jeanine Dahl; brother, Bruce (Paula) Carlson; nephews, Andrew and Ian Dahl, and Sam Carlson; and many good friends.

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 26th at St Lawrence Catholic Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Rd, with Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM and reception to follow. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery next to his dad, Paul.
