Carol Ann (Slosson) Walsburg, 61, of Duluth, lost her battle with cancer after a strong 7 year fight on Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born on December 20, 1955, to Donald and Audrey Slosson in Duluth, MN. Carol was a woman of many talents including catering, gardening, baking, cooking, sewing, quilting, fishing and camping. Every fall she would make her salsa and spaghetti sauce from the veggies she had grown. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Donald E. Slosson. Carol is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gary J.; son, Gary "DJ"; daughter, Erin Slosson; grandchildren, Piper and Nahnee; mother, Audrey Johanson; brothers, Don (Kathy), Todd, and Tom Slosson; sisters, Bunny Krueger and Mary (Jerry) Prestin; many nieces and nephews; and some great friends. Carol will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, June 4th at Proctor Community Center, 100 Pionk Dr, Proctor, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
