Carol Jean Jensen, 54, of Duluth, MN, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation in Duluth.
Carol was born in Minneapolis to Gail and Ronald Jensen on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1963. She worked as a crew member for McDonalds for many years. She enjoyed family activities, working at her job, and gambling at casinos.
Carol was preceded in death by her partner, John Wertz; father, Ronald Jensen; grandparents, Delores & Gaylord Valenta, Alice & Jim Haven, and Charles Jensen; aunt, Judith Bednarek; and uncle, Clay Valenta.
Carol is survived by her mother, Gail (James) Paulus; daughters, Lindsy (Jeremy Vogt) Jensen; sons, Andrew (Amy) Jensen and Clay Hedenlund; grandson, Aidan Meyers; sister, Mary (Pablo) Jensen; niece, Jala (Matt) Beer; nephew, Jason Cole; and great-nephews, Zachariah and Samuel Beer.
VISITATION: 10:30 am on Saturday, November 10th at New Life Covenant Church, 5309 Dickerman Rd, Saginaw (Hwy 7) with Celebration of Life to follow at 11 am. Burial will follow at later date in Cotton, MN.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Luke's Hospital, Chris Jensen, and hospice nurses for all their loving care of Carol for the four months she was in their care. Special thank you to her doctors, Dr. Mary Boylan and Dr. Paul Sanford of Duluth, MN.
Also thanks to Carol's "family" at McDonalds for visiting her and showing her love and support during her four month battle.
