Calvin Lynn Wolfe, of Hermantown, passed away on his 82nd birthday, October 14, 2024 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Proctor. He was born in Duluth to Jonathan and Ethel Wolfe.

Calvin graduated from Denfeld High School in 1962. He was a longtime employee at Diamond Tool, and then worked as a custodian in the Hermantown School district until he retired.

Calvin enjoyed old-time country music, cooking, playing guitar, and all the fun dad and grandpa things. He was also an avid Minnesota Twins fan.

Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, Ardys, just 32 days prior; brother, Don Wolfe; sister, Shari Lanning; and son-in-law, Wayne "Buck" Hirdler.

Calvin is survived by children, James "Jim", Lynn Hirdler, and Diane Davis; grandchildren, Chase Hirdler, Matti (Ryan Kolojeski) Hirdler, Chloe Fredrickson, Caitlin Stingley, Hannah Davis, and Jason "JJ" Davis; great-grandson, Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 8th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
