Bruno Giernot, 89, passed away Friday, August 2nd, 2013 in Chris Jensen Nursing Home.  Bruno was born May 10, 1924 to John and Mary Giernot.  He grew up in Duluth, graduated from the University of Iowa, served in WWII and was honorably discharged, and retired from Diamond Tool. Bruno was preceded in death by his parents, wife Erma, brothers Joseph and Adam, sister Florence, nephew John Giernot, niece Marlene Mickelson and her husband Marvin Mickelson. Bruno is survived by his niece Judie (Scott) Austin of Spring Hills, FL, niece Bernice Giernot, his great-nephew Ryan (Joanna) Mickelson, and their children Cash and Declan all of Coon Rapids, MN.
