Bonita Bernice (Botton) Anderson, 86, of Hoyt Lakes, Minn., died on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Northern Pines Nursing Home in Aurora, Minn. Bonnie was born on October 23, 1936, in Duluth, Minn., to Edwin and Bernice Botten (Lind­strom). She attended school in Proctor, Minn. She married William Anderson on October 8, 1954. They moved to Hoyt Lakes in 1957. Bonnie was a proud homemaker who always put her family first. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and its Ruth Circle. Bonnie is survived by her children, Rick Anderson, of Hoyt Lakes, and Wyatt (Connie) Anderson, of Brandon, South Dakota; grandchildren, Jeff Holter, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Jennifer Anderson, of Sioux Falls; sister, Doris Kellar, of Minneapolis; and her nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Lori; parents, Edwin and Bernice; sisters, Shirley Wagner and Brenda Smith; great-granddaughter, Madison; son-in-law, Steve Holter; and brother­ in-law, DeWayne Wagner. Memorial service and Committal to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 5th at Sunrise Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy.
