IN LOVING MEMORY OF

August 2, 1975 – November 10, 2025
Billie Jo Marie (Hanson) Sherman of Colfax, WI passed away November 10, 2025 of medical complications with her husband, Carl Jr, by her side.
Billie Jo was born August 2, 1975 to Kurt Hanson and Alfrieda (Hashey) Shaw in Duluth, MN. Billie Jo grew up in Duluth and graduated from Proctor High School. She later moved to Eau Claire, WI where she joined her high school sweetheart and married. Together they made their home in Colfax, WI and had four children.
Billie Jo had many jobs throughout her working career but her best and most loved was "at home" being a wife and a mother.
Billie Jo loved to organize and reorganize things in her house listening to her music playlist on her phone as loud as she could. She had a passionate love for strong coffee 24/7. She never wanted her family to go hungry or without anything, so she was continually ordering online and FedEx and UPS were passing each other in her driveway. Family was what Billie Jo lived for…
Billie Jo was preceded in death by her father, Kurt Joseph Hanson; stepfather, Ronald Shaw; and sister, Jessica Rae Shaw.
