Beverly "Bev" Murray, age 89, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on November 15, 2025, at Diamond Willow.

Beverly was born on October 5, 1936, in Ovid, Michigan, to Agatha and Glen Robinson. She later moved to Duluth, where she graduated from beauty school and earned her certification as a beautician. At the age of 32, Beverly was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis—a challenge she faced with remarkable strength, humor, and resilience. For 57 years, she lived with MS while maintaining a happy-go-lucky spirit and the bright, beautiful smile she was known for. Beverly loved painting, playing bingo for quarters, and had a deep affection for all animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Lana Murray and Colleen Murray; grandchildren Jesse Murray, Cherry Huff, and Brandon Dietzmann; and great-grandchildren Jason, Darla, Rylie, Iris, Hudson, Brandon Jr., and Ava.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Benedictine Adult Day Services for their many years of care, as well as to Diamond Willow–Proctor and Gentiva Hospice for their support. A special thank-you also goes to Jesse for the loving care he provided his grandmother during his younger years.

An open house style Celebration of Life will be held at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy in Hermantown, on Friday December 5th 2025 from 1pm to 3pm.
