Beverly (Bev) Joy (Towers) Melanson, 78, of Saginaw, MN died Sunday December 15th, 2013 at St Luke's Hospital Duluth. Bev was born to the late William and Evelyn Towers on September 21st 1935. Bev attended Proctor High School. She married Marvin Melanson on November 22, 1952. Bev worked for Nopeming Nursing Home as a cook for fifteen years. She owned two businesses; Relaxersise and Starvin Marvins' Restaurant. She retired in December 1998. Bev's hobbies included; shopping, cake decorating, playing cards, sewing, doll making and ceramics. She won many ribbons at the Proctor County Fair for baking and sewing.
