Obituary

Beulah Virginia Wilson, 94, of Duluth began her heavenly journey on Aug.11, 2013.  She was born Dec. 22, 1918 in Trommald, Minn., to Frederick and Catherine Rosenkranz.  She married Woodrow J Wilson of Brainerd on Aug. 12, 1939, and together they raised six children.  Beulah graduated from DBU and worked at the YMCA and Wahl's in Duluth. She was involved in the American Legion, VFW auxiliary and Degree of Honor, and was a former president of LCW at Salem Lutheran Church, and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church more recently.  She also was an auxiliary volunteer at the Goodwill, Duluth, was an election judge, a great fisher woman, travel companion, and loved music and Polka. These are a few of the things which she occupied herself with, but will be remembered for the character qualities of loyalty, steadfastness, good humor and faith, which she demonstrated all through her life. Beulah is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband Woodrow J Wilson; son Charles R. Wilson; daughter Barbara E Thompson; and grandson Christopher Hegland. Survivors are Joan (Glenn) Pruder, Ginger McFaul, James Wilson, Kathryn (Tom) Pettis; 13 grandchildren, almost 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Many thanks to staff and friends at Chris Jensen for your love and care. VISITATION: 1 p.m. Aug. 23, 2013 until the 2 p.m. memorial service in Sunrise Funeral Home. We will make a memorial gift of new songbooks to the Chris Jensen Chapel.
