Betty Ann Bennewise, 88, of Duluth, embraced her Jesus she so faithfully followed and went to see her husband, Kenneth, again while surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Betty was born in Hinckley, MN to Hannes & Grace Rypkema. She worked as an LPN and later volunteered at Edison school as a foster grandparent. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; and brothers, Floyd, Robert, and William. Betty is survived by her children, William (Lynn) Bennewise, Barbara (Gene) Potthier, Mark Bennewise, Lisa Anton, and Lora (Rick) Bennewise; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Doris Dee, Phyllis Donaldson, Janet (Don) Sikkink, Janice (LaVern) Irons, and Jim (Joyce) Rypkema; and many nieces and nephews. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 pm on Thursday, July 27th at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 9030 Beaudry St, Duluth.
