Barbara Skog, age 78, had a change of address on October 24th, 2024. She now resides in a mansion in heaven bought and paid for by her Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bible says: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruth Sellwood, in laws, Evald and Violet Skog, brothers-in-law, Floyd Forsman, Edward Jenny and sister-in-law, Sandra Sellwood.

She is survived by her husband, Michael M. Skog, daughters, Beth (Troy) Adams, Alissa (Roy) Shingledecker, Chrystin Skog and son, Michael J. (Debra) Skog and 9 grandchildren, Colton and Makenzie Adams, Seth (wife Melissa), Ethan (wife Grace Ann), Faith and Grace Shingledecker and Samuel, Benjamin and Ruth Skog; her brother, Jack Sellwood, sister-in-laws Bonnie (Harold Dellwo) Forsman, Sandra (Dean) Koski, Barbra Jenny and Kathy (Stephen) Anderson and 12 nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Duluth East High School and was a long-time resident of Solway Township. She attended Duluth Bible Church.

In 2011 she retired from Ram Mutual Insurance, Esko MN.

Her greatest desire was that anyone reading this obituary and/or attending her funeral asks themselves the question, "Where will I spend eternity?"
