Barbara Bernice Kolkin, 82, of Cass Lake, MN passed away on November 15, 2023 at Essentia Health Center in Duluth, MN.

Barb was born in Duluth to Gus and Elsie Banick on August 12, 1941. She graduated from Hermantown High School in 1959, and later in life worked for a time at Duluth Laundry.

Barb really enjoyed her years with husband Bob Kolkin, traveling the upper Midwest to various tractor shows in their pickup and camper with their little dogs, Corky and Toby.

Barb was preceded in death by her first husband, William Pliml; second husband, Robert Kolkin; brother, Anthony; and sister, Cynthia Averill.

Barb is survived by her only son, Dean (Paula) Pliml; grandchildren, Tyler (Tessa) Pliml and April (Tommy) Ubert Melanie Pliml; great-grandchildren, Roman, Wesley, Riley, and Jovie; and nieces, Amy and Rae Ann.

Barb will be buried next to her husband Bob at Farden Township Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN.
