Axton "Dylan" Whitfield, 19, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born November 23, 1997, and raised in Duluth, Mn. He was currently living in Proctor. Dylan attended Duluth schools and was currently attending school at A.L.C with dreams of being a video game designer. Dylan was extremely smart and a gifted athlete excelling in basketball. He was loving, respectful, generous, and fiercely devoted to siblings, friends, and especially his mom. His smile would brighten anyone's day. He was preceded in death by his father, Astor Dallas Whitfield III. He is survived by his mama, Angie Smith; step dad, Forest Wright; sister, Lyndsey; brothers, Corey, Whit (Tassja), Aston, Aldon, Levi, Triston, and Ben; nephews, Jaydien and Tylon; niece, Azaylah; grandparents, Terry & Kathy Smith, Jan Schoenborn, Bob Carlson, and  Shelly Louks; great-grandmother, Marylou Pouti; and many beloved aunts, uncles,  cousins, and countless friends. Dylan was loved by anyone and everyone that was blessed to know him  VISITATION: 2pm Friday, June 2nd at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with memorial service to follow at 3pm.
