Amanda Suzzanne-Agnes Barker Mead, 34, of Twig, MN passed away on Aug. 10, 2022.

Amanda was born to Bruce C. Barker and Nancy Iverson-Barker on Feb. 23, 1988 in Duluth, MN. She attended Caribou Lake Elementary, Proctor Jr. and Sr. High schools and graduated from Duluth's Unity School in 2006. Being an artistic person, she excelled in photography, graphic arts, oil painting and as a sketch artist. She was employed in the food service industry and loved being a hostess, wait person, and a chef's assistant. She worked at the Tesora restaurant in Siren, WI, and at several area food establishments. She loved every minute of it. Amanda was once employed by Duluth's "Life House" in assisting area youth.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Agnes and Hulid (Hap) Barker, Iver Iverson Jr. and Elayne Olson-Carlson; and step-grandfather, Herbert L. Carlson.

Amanda is survived by her three children, Serena Rose Barker, Victor Mead and Miles Mead; the father of her children, Matthew Mead; and parents, Bruce and Nancy Barker.

This beautiful woman will always be remembered for her artistic talents, caring attitude, and her "signature" - which was her bright red lipstick. Later, Amanda, later!

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Oct. 15th at Grace Lutheran Church, 5454 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM.
