Obituary

Allison Michelle Beltt, 41, of Duluth, MN, passed away suddenly in her home of natural causes on the evening of October 8, 2022. Allison had been under medical care for a heart condition for some time and her big, loving heart weakened and stopped. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by the many people whose lives she touched.

Allison was born July 28, 1981 to Tom and Kim Beltt in Cloquet, MN and attended Cloquet schools until graduating in 2000 from Cloquet Senior High School. She then went on to receive an A.A. degree in Law Enforcement from Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. She furthered her studies at the University of Wisconsin – Superior majoring in Social Work. During and following school Allison worked in a number of area group homes caring for vulnerable individuals. Most recently Allison was employed by ARC Northland providing client home care.

Allison had many interests in life. She was happy as a homemaker, raising her twins with many family traditions that she enjoyed as a child, making every holiday and birthday special for her family. Allison worked hard to give her children the best life experiences she could, including many family camping adventures. She loved her twins dearly and supported their many childhood pursuits. She was also a friend to and advocate for people and animals in need of help. She rehomed more than a few dogs and cats with her parents.

Allison enjoyed a number of activities. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed vegetable gardening, following in her dad's footsteps. She loved the gorgeous quilts and fabric art her mom made for her and her family as well as the many beautiful hand knit items made by her sister Danielle. She was also interested in and involved in politics and advocated for women's rights.

Auntie Allison was also a loving aunt and her evening FaceTime visits with her niece Aili will be deeply missed. Allison enjoyed laughing and definitely had her own special sense of humor.

Allison was preceded in death by her grandparents; five uncles; and her stillborn infant daughter, Amelia Grace Beltt.

Allison is survived and will lovingly be remembered by her many well-loved family and friends, including her twin children, Lilliana and Avery Connor; her life mate and father of her children, Jesse Connor; parents, Tom and Kim; beloved sister and best friend, Danielle and Danielle's daughter, Aili; Jesse's family including his mother, Loretta Connor, his sister, Eve (Trevor) Finnegan and her children, Nathan and Katie, his sister, Misty (J.P.) Rennquist and her children, Elijah, Julia, Grace and Maria; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Jessica Murphy Brickson, Carrie Dunbar; neighbors, Tom, Diane and Judy; and family pets, Fiona, Ragnar and Odin.

No service is planned at this time. Per Allison's wishes her cremated remains will be responsibly interred at her chosen area location. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

The family wishes to thank Duluth's First Responders and Police for their kindness and comfort in their emergency response.
