Alfred F. Taylor
Alfred "Al" F. Taylor, 76, of Las Vegas, formerly of Duluth, Minnesota died peacefully at home on August 1st, 2018 after a short bout with cancer. Al was in the Air Force and later retired from the Air National Guard where he worked as a fireman. He also worked as a tour bus driver for many years. He was a Mason and a Shriner while living in Duluth.
He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Jo Anne of Las Vegas, his son, Dan (Laura) of Butte, Nebraska, stepson, Ace (Amanda) Van Patten of Las Vegas and stepdaughter, Casey Van Patten of Owensboro, Kentucky; sisters Claudia (Tom) Budisalovich of Hinckley, Jeanne (Marty) Snyder of Meadowlands, Denise (Larry) Heise of Two Harbors, brothers Jerry of Duluth, Larry (Yvonne) of Chicago, and Timothy of Duluth, and grandchildren, Nicole Richardson of Duluth, and McKenna and Logan Van Patten of Las Vegas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins and lifelong friend, Don Gimpel of Apache Junction, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Florence Taylor; sisters, Barb Olson and Mary Sue Brown; and brother, Donn.
Al will be missed by all who knew him.
