Alan Roy Kuehnow, 81, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls, WI.
Alan was born on December 1, 1943, in Duluth, MN to Jennie and Alfred Kuehnow. After serving honorably in the U.S. Army, he spent time sailing on the Great Lakes before beginning a long and dedicated career in the trucking industry. He was the proud owner of Kuehnow Trucking, and also worked for many years in California before retiring.
Alan was a man of deep faith in God. He had a quick-witted, joyful sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him. He loved being in nature, downhill skiing, fishing, and stock car races. He found great purpose in helping others and treasured time spent with his family and friends.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Paul; and former wife, Patricia.
Alan is lovingly remembered by his children, Tim (Jennifer) Kuehnow, Theresa (Scott) Livingood, Kevin (Lynn) Kuehnow, and Yvonne (Greg) Swope; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family members and friends.
A committal service with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22nd at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery - Duluth. All who knew and loved Alan are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
