Lucille Geier Obituary

Lucille Marie Geier, 94, of Duluth passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at Heritage Haven Assisted Living.

Lucille was born on December 14, 1925 in South St. Paul, MN to John and Anna Grosskopf. She was married to Theodore "Ted" Geier on July 13, 1946, and made their home in Inver Grove Heights, MN. They moved to Duluth, MN in 1969 where they owned and operated Piedmont Hardware until 1984, when they retired to Deming, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted"; granddaughter, Christina Minter; and grandson, Jeffrey Seafolk.

Lucille is survived by her 7 children, Ann (Bob) Minter, Tom (Sandy) Geier, Janet (Dale) Seafolk, Mary (Greg) Sorenson, Barb (Jim) Crusan, Jim Geier, and Gloria Geier; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 10:30 am followed by funeral service at 11:30 am at Sunrise Funeral Home 4798 Miller Trunk Highway Hermantown, MN.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or memory care.
