Lloyd Landa Obituary
Lloyd Landa of Grand Forks, ND passed away Sunday April 28, 2019 at Hospice Care at Chris Jensen Health and Rehab Center.
He was born on March 16, 1932 at Reynolds, ND the son of Christ and Martha (Monson) Landa. Lloyd attended school and grew to manhood in the Reynold's Community. He farmed with his Dad until June of 1953 when he entered the Navy till June of 1957.
On September 14, 1957 he married Peggy Breidenbach in Northwood, ND. They lived in Mayville where he worked for Elmer Brunsdale, Mayville Pelleting, and American Crystal from 1974 till retirement February 23, 2006.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, sons Larry and Frank, great-grandsons Bradley and Evan Farrell. 5 brothers Truman, Claris, Sanford, Victor and Ardell, 2 sisters Irene Bakken, Mardell Svaleson.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, son Steve (Amber) Landa of Mayville, ND daughters Kathy (Jeff) Anderson Cummings, Linda (Rolland) Farrell of Saginaw, MN. 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Gladys Gunderson of Buxton, ND Myrtle Dean of Temecula, CA: Special adopted son Wayne (Jayne) Pudil and adopted grandson Jerry Pudil. Several nieces and nephews.
Private family burial at a later date. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home and Cemetery.
