Jeanette Loisel Obituary
Jeanette Loisel, 81, of Duluth, passed away at home on Monday, August 5th, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 15th, 1938 in Cedar Valley, MN to Clifford and Aurellia Snyder.
Jeanette married Raymond Loisel on June 8th, 1957. They had the fairy tale marriage that everyone wishes for. Family was everything for her, she was the definition of matriarch. She always put others before herself; right up to the very end, her thoughts were how she could make sure everyone else was taken care of, especially her best friend Raymond.
Her heart was huge, she always made sure birthdays were very special for everyone, in the early years she ensured they had their favorite birthday dinner and cake. As years past and people moved on they would always look forward to the phone call from Jeanette and Ray singing their rendition of Happy Birthday. She also had a knack for capturing the spirit of all holidays, the most loved being Christmas in her home.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Aurellia Snyder; and her brother, Robert Snyder.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Raymond Loisel; children, Cheryl (Mark) Klejeski, Kristine Loisel, David (Amie) Loisel, and Brian Loisel; grandchildren, Melinda, Michael, Kayla, Steven, Cynthia, Jessica, Stefani and Jasmine; great-grandchildren Bristol, Vincent, Gabriel, Bella, Kayden, Noah and Aiden; and siblings Darleen Bubacz, Sharon Green, and Raymond Snyder.
VISITATION: 11 am on Saturday, August 10th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with funeral service to follow at Noon. Entombment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
