Evelyn Eunice Lepley

Evelyn Lepley, 92, of Proctor, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 following a brief time in the compassionate care of the medical staff in St. Luke's Hospice Duluth. Evelyn was born on August 11, 1926 to Neil and Jennie (Ohlgren) McGath. She married Earl Gorder and raised three children: LeRoy, Albert and Charlene "Char". She married Les Lepley in 1981.
During her lifetime, Evelyn had many jobs as mother, cook and baker, seamstress, and health care assistant; her favorite was the 20 years she spent as a foster grandmother at Lincoln Park School in Duluth and Bay View Heights School in Proctor. Evelyn enjoyed playing horseshoes, bocce, farkle, and bingo.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl and Les; children, LeRoy and Char; daughter-in-law, Ida Gorder; sister, Alberta Kintigh; brother, Elmer Ohlgren; sister-in-law, Verna Ohlgren; and brother-in-law, Leonard Anderson.
Evelyn is survived by her sister, Delores Anderson; son, Albert (Joanne) Gorder; son-in-law, Tom Kelly; granddaughters, Tami (David), Jodi (John), Michelle (Paul), Yvonne and Deanna; grandsons, Lee (Kari) and Dennis; brother-in-law, Willis Kintigh; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
VISITATION: 12 pm on Monday, November 19th at Forbes United Methodist Church, 33 Grove St., Proctor, with memorial service to follow at 1 pm. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
