Darlene Dunaiski Obituary
Darlene Yvonne Dunaiski, 83, of Duluth, entered into eternal life, free from the confusion and distress of dementia on Friday, October 25, 2019.
Darlene was born in Duluth to Chauncey and Theresa Wargin on April 26, 1936. She married Theodore Dunaiski on February 1, 1954. Darlene loved to be in the kitchen, always loved to be baking and cooking a good meal. She ran a daycare in her home for many years. In 1983 they moved to Fish Lake to enjoy the "Lake Life."
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Dunaiski; and brothers, Chauncey and Dennis.
Darlene is survived by her children, Sherlyn (Jason) Eilefson, Perry Dunaiski, Carolyn (Ron) Huppert, Larry (Lisa) Dunaiski, and Karen (Mike) Garrick; grandchildren, Keri Thygeson, Brad (Niki) Thygeson, Jodi (Dustin) Collelo, Chad Dunaiski, Cassie (Lucas) Haldorson, Ryan (Anna) Dunaiski, Lacey Dunaiski, and Sacha Dunaiski; great-grandchildren, Austin Knute, Jayton Nelson, Avaya DuPay, Jasmin Thygeson, Lily Thygeson, Ella Thygeson, Logan Thygeson, Ali Collelo, Braylon Collelo, Draya Collelo, Gavin Haldorson, Evan Haldorson, Baby Haldorson, Corbin Dunaiski, and Landon Bansback; and great-great-grandchildren, Braxton Knute and Hazel Knute.
The family would like to thank the staff at New Perspective Memory Care and St. Croix Hospice for all the wonderful care they provided Darlene.
VISITATION: 10 am on Friday, November 1st at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with funeral service to follow at 11 am.
