Dale Max Kirsh, 81, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
Dale was born in Duluth to Max and Lila (Randa) Kirsh on December 3, 1937. He grew up in Homecroft and graduated from Central High School. Dale served in the National Guards. He worked a few jobs before settling in as a "helpful hardware man" at Ace downtown. He was recognized by the Duluth Area Bowling Association for more than 45 years of league bowling. He was an avid cribbage player, and won 1st place in the last tournament he played in. He loved himself a good reuben sandwich. Dale had a great sense of humor, a huge heart, and will be greatly missed.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lyle, Gerald, and Freddie; partner, Donna Mattson; and son, Todd.
Dale is survived by his son, Daniel (Jenny LeDoux) Kirsh; daughters, Sandra (James) Sandomierski, Laurie (Dave) Linder, and Lisa (Mike) Kerttula; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Renee) Kirsh; and sister, Sharon Akerstrom.
VISITATION: 2 pm on Friday, March 8th at Elim Lutheran Church, 6101 Cody St, with memorial service to follow at 3 pm.
