Carol Rontti Obituary
Carol Marie Rontti, 77, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.
Carol was born on June 5, 1942 to Milton and Gladys (Hatfield) Monson in Duluth, MN. She was a graduate of Duluth East High School, was an X-Ray Technician at the Medical Arts in Duluth, and retired from Hennepin Faculty Associates in Minneapolis.
Carol enjoyed baking, cooking, Swedish weaving, archery, bowling, and was a lifelong member of the Knitting Club. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, traveling, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed spending many winters in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Renee Bartz.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Harv; sons, Brian (Terrie) Gressman and Darin Gressman; daughters, Robin (Pat) Harrington, Rachelle Rontti, Ann (Jim) Bleibaum and RaeLea (Jase) Johnson; grandchildren, Toni Hagen, Amanda Hagen, Ryan Gressman, Lucy Gressman, Aaron Bartz, Derek Bartz, Kerisa Weaver, Morgan Weaver, Jaden Rilea, Spencer Hinrichs, Alisha Nylander, Calee Nylander, Cade Johnson, Cole Johnson, Lauren Johnson and Lily Johnson; great-grandchildren, Keaton Gressman, Nikki Bishop, Anthony Bishop, Izaiah Bishop, Coley Hester, Rowan Hester, Laythan Nylander, Cora Bartz, Easton Bartz and Leah Bartz; sister, Marilyn Wendorf; and many friends.
Visitation will be held 12 noon Tuesday August 13, 2019 at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Memorial Service to follow at 1 pm.
