Calvin "Cal" Harold Rudolph, 77, of Hermantown, passed away at home on January 23, 2019.
Cal was born to Harry and Ora Rudolph in Grafton, ND on September 14, 1941. He graduated from Hermantown High School class of 1959, and attended Salter VoTech to earn his technical engineering degree. Cal went on to work as a technical engineer, working on early computers at Burroughs for ten years prior to opening his own business, Rudolph's Construction.
Cal was married to his high school sweetheart, Diane Reinke, on October 24, 1959. They were married for 59 amazing years.
Cal was known in the community for his dedication to the Hermantown Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Chief for ten years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending his days fishing and hunting, riding his motorcycle, and spending winters in South Padre Island.
Cal was preceded in death by his parents and loved nephew, Rick Reinke.
Cal is survived by his wife, Diane; children: Glen (Kathy) of NY, Theresa of TX, and Jamie (Jim) of MN; grandchildren, Britta, A.J., and Jackson; honorary granddaughter, Annie Radakovich Olson of WI; brother, Russell (Joann) of RI; sister, Donna (Jim) of MN; as well as extended family and extraordinary friends.

VISITATION: 10 am on Monday, January 28th at Salem Lutheran Church, 4715 Hermantown Rd, with funeral to follow at 11 am.
