Sharron Rae Barry Carl,
July 3, 1944 - April 29, 2016
of Duluth Minnesota passed away after a long battle with cancer
surrounded by her family.
Born in New Lisbon WI and growing up in Duluth Mn.
Sharron was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Carl,
parents James (Gordon) and Hazel Barry, brother Darrell Barry
daughter Tina (Bodin) Latraille, and step daughter Stacey Carl.
Sharron is survived by her children William Bodin Jr, Jean Yonker, Kimberly (Scott) Hollis, Gordon Bodin,
Robyn Fryt, beloved friend and sister in law Freda Barry, step children,
grand children, great grand children,
many wonderful friends and her dearest companion Angel.
Sharron while raising young children went back to school and obtained her degree in clerical at Duluth Area Vocational Technical Institute, Skill Center Campus.
She worked for West End Iron and Zenith Steel for 10 years.
Then worked for Duluth Answering Service.
She moved on to SMDC Essentia Health Switchboard and retired after
20+ years of service.
Sharron traveled and lived in several states including California, Rhode Island,
Missouri, Washington and overseas in Italy, Turkey and Germany; before settling
back in Duluth MN.
Sharron enjoyed wood working with her one true love and husband in the garage, mowing the
lawn on her riding lawn mower (aka) Nascar Lucy, crocheting,
gardening, tending her beloved roses, ceramics and spending time with her family and friends
sharing her spicy attitude and humor. Skyping with her grand kids and spending time with her
special companion Angel.
However Sharron's wish was to have this short and sweet stating:
