My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. The God of the Bible promises us a time when we will be reunited with our loved onesâ¦Isaiah 25:8 âœHe will swallow death forever, and the The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces.â₝ and John 5:28: "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". God promises a future time when there will be no more pain and grief due to the death of a love one! The former things have passed away.â₝ My heartfelt condolences and prayers for family and friends.

Mr Childs was also my 6th grade teacher in the early 80s. I remember him being a fair and steady hand with a good sense of humor. I was a bit of a stirrer back then and my desk was actually positioned up alongside his desk at the front of the class. I remember him driving his big 70s Galaxy 500 (dark green) car to school and I thought it suited him. I understand Mr Childs was also my father's teacher although I'm not sure which grade, but it might have been at Lincoln at the very beginning of his career.
