Marjorie Fish Obituary

Marjorie August Fish, 85, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2017, with Wendy, Jodi, and Josh by her side. She was born on August 24, 1931, in Park Rapids to August & Bonnie Jacobson. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time at "the cabin" with family and friends. Marjorie was a devoted foster mother to 69 children, and was loved dearly. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Walt; son, Craig Fish; granddaughter, Jaymi Wendt; brothers, Alton and Keith; and sister, Bernette. Marjorie is survived by children, David (Sue) Fish, Wendy (Mark) Blankenship, Jodi (Randy) Wendt, and Vicki Buffolino; grandchildren, Joei Rocheleau, Terri Davis, Josh and Amber Blankenship, Jake, Jessie, and Jordan Wendt, and Larry Buffolino; great-grandchildren, Carley, Hailey, Courtney, Kelsey, and Misty Davis, Ruby Rocheleau, Brooklyn and Tiegan Burch, and Jaylen Wendt; great-great-grandchild Gracelynn Davis; many nieces and nephews; and the love of her life and furry companion, Honey. VISITATION: 12 pm May 5th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with a funeral service at 1 pm.
