Lois Mae (McDonald, Kuster) Stacy went to be with the Lord on Christmas 2016. She was born in Duluth on June 22, 1929, as a set of twins, to George and Signe McDonald.  She graduated from Denfeld High School in 1947. In 1953, she married Lennart Roy Byron Kuster, and they had four children: Carol, Byron, Bill, and Robert. Lennart passed away in 1962. Lois worked part-time during the next six years to support her young family. In 1968, she married Mac Stacy, and they were married for 43 years until Mac's passing in 2011. Throughout the years, she worked at various secretarial jobs, including in the Office of Price Stabilization and in the MN Office of Consumer Services. In the 1980's, she and Mac managed Duluth's Indian Point Campground for five years. They enjoyed going south for the winter in their RV. They had a very active social life and a wide circle of friends, especially from Bethany Baptist Church where she was an active member for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lennart Kuster and Mac Stacy; grandson, Eric Kuster; sisters, Marion Johnson, Eileen Smith; and sister-in-law, Rosemary McDonald.  She is survived by her four children, Carol (John) Osufsen of Aurora, Byron (Becky) Kuster, William Kuster (Rose Marie), and Robert Kuster; grandchildren, Dean Kuster, Jesse (Jennifer) Osufsen, Brandon Osufsen and Darren (Carly ) Osufsen; and great-grandchildren, Riley, Savannah, Brooke, Isaac and Jedidiah Osufsen; her twin brother, Charles McDonald of Denver; sister, Lorraine Dewey of Duluth; and many nieces and nephews.
