Janice Marie Hagenbrock

Janice Marie Hagenbrock   Janice Marie Hagenbrock, 70, of Duluth, passed away at home April 1, 2016. Jan was born August 30, 1945, in Bremerton, Washington, to Beatrice and Ryal Gelineau. She graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1964 and went on to earn her nursing degree from St. Luke's Nursing School. She started her nursing career at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth and later worked at Viewcrest Nursing Center for over 26 years.  Jan thoroughly enjoyed life-she loved spending time with her friends and family, cooking and baking, visiting the camper, knitting, watching movies, reading, and most of all, power-shopping! She also absolutely adored her four grandchildren. Jan will fondly be remembered for her great meals for every occasion, amazing baking skills, great smile, warm laughter and heart of gold.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ryal Gelineau, and stepfather, William Fjeran. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; mother, Beatrice Fjeran; sisters, Mary (Keith) Sjodin and Linda (Keith) Costley; brothers, Tom (Teresa) Gelineau and Dean (Barbara) Gelineau; daughter, Cammie (Todd) Holcomb; grandchildren, Connor, Keifer, Chase, and Chloe Holcomb; and grand-dogs, Ginger and Yoshi. VISITATION: noon until the 1 p.m. service Saturday,  April 9, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN.  If desired, memorials may be directed to Special Olympics Wild West Team,  1421 Sugarbush Ln, Waconia, MN  55387.
