Jane Anderson Obituary

Jane Elaine Anderson, 90, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on August 15, 2017, at Golden Oaks in Proctor. Jane was born in Duluth to Florence Belle Singer Cox and Francis Louis Cox on February 6, 1927. She worked at Diamond Tool in Duluth during her younger years and retired from the US Post Office. She loved animals, especially her Brittany Spaniels Charlie, Sandy, and Lucky. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; and brother, Jim Cox. Because Jane was widowed while she was in her forties, she had to rely on her spirit of independence and inner strength. Jane is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Friday, August 18th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with a reception to follow.
