Douglas Bystedt Obituary

Douglas R. Bystedt, 66, of Hermantown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at his home. He was born on July 10, 1951, in Duluth, MN to Ralph and Carol Bystedt. He was the oldest of two. Doug had a wonderful sense of humor and a very kind heart. He was always there to help anyone in need, pets included. He loved golf, grilling, gardening, and reading, but most of all,spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carol, whom he spent over 40 years with; daughter, Nicole (Chris) Burrows; son, Tyler; granddaughter, Emma; and brother, Steve (Carrie) Bystedt. The family would like to thank the Hermantown Police Department and the many people who came to assist us. Private family services to be held.
